Kappu Jaykumar is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading digital and engineering teams across prominent organizations. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Giant Eagle, Inc., Kappu previously held senior leadership roles at Lowe's India and Walmart eCommerce, where responsibilities included overseeing product engineering and digital strategies. Notably, Kappu directed a high-performing team at Tesco PLC, managing the online grocery platform that catered to millions globally, as well as the engineering support for the Tesco Clubcard Rewards and API Technology Platform. Prior experience includes key positions at Amazon, Microsoft, and Ramco Systems, highlighting a strong foundation in system design, program management, and automation. Kappu holds an M.Tech in Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
