Cristian Blazquez Bustos has several years of experience in software development and engineering. Cristian began their career at everis in 2006, where they worked as a COBOL/CICS/DB2 programmer. Cristian later became a Senior COBOL/CICS/DB2 Programmer before moving on to atSistemas in 2008. At atSistemas, they served as a COBOL/CICS/DB2 Analyst and was involved in a migration project for FIATC infrastructure. Cristian worked there until 2016.
In 2016, Cristian briefly worked at EXIS TI as a COBOL/CICS/DB2 Analyst. Cristian then joined Wakyma Innovation as a FullStack Developer, responsible for administration and app deployment on Amazon EC2 instances. Cristian also developed backend applications using NodeJS and integration APIs with PHP for Prestashop. In addition, they gained experience in iOS app development and task automation tools using Python. Cristian worked at Wakyma Innovation until 2019.
In 2019, Cristian joined Oxford University Press as a NodeJS Backend Developer for a brief period. Later that year, they joined Rebellion Pay as a Tech Lead & Backend Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing an event-based microservices architecture. Cristian also managed the Kubernetes cluster and oversaw the continuous integration processes. Additionally, they developed microservices using NodeJS and NestJS. Cristian worked at Rebellion Pay until 2022.
Currently, Cristian is the Lead Backend Developer at Ghost - Wallet-2-Wallet Messaging, where they apply their expertise in the backend development field.
Throughout their career, Cristian has demonstrated proficiency in various programming languages and technologies, such as COBOL, CICS, DB2, NodeJS, NestJS, and Python. Cristian has experience in both large-scale projects and start-ups, and has contributed to the development and maintenance of complex systems.
Cristian Blazquez Bustos earned a Senior Tec degree in Multiplatform Application Development from FOC Institute. Cristian attended FOC Institute from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, in 2017-2018, they completed the KeepCoding Mobile Bootcamp at KeepCoding. Cristian also obtained a certification in IT security called "CERTYRED - Profesional en seguridad informática" from Universidad de Salamanca in February 2011.
