Joël Besse is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the life sciences, foodtech, and deeptech sectors. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor for Save the Children Global Ventures and as an Angel Investor in various companies including Longlive, MAG4HEALTH, and Core Biogenesis, Joël has a strong focus on supporting startups at different funding stages. As the Founder of Momentum Biotech, Joël has been actively involved in providing seed and Series A investments since 2015. Additionally, Joël holds a director role at Affas Besse Advisors Ltd, a healthcare consulting firm, and has invested in multiple biotech ventures such as BrainTale and Therafast. Joël's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Missile and Space Systems Technology from ISAE-SUPAERO and a Master of Science in Theoretical Mechanics from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
