Scott Galloway has extensive experience in the engineering field, particularly in the areas of dams, hydropower, tunnels, and geotechnical engineering. Scott currently holds the position of Lead Engineer - Dams and Hydropower at GHD since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Golder from 2019 to 2021. From 2014 to 2019, Scott was a Senior Civil Engineer at Multiconsult, where they played a key role in various projects including the supervision of construction, review of construction methodologies, and design and technical support. Before joining Multiconsult, they served as a Senior Civil Engineer at URS Corporation from 2012 to 2012, where they were involved in the detailed design of remedial measures for the Tekapo Canal Remediation Project. Scott also worked as a Project Engineer at Ertech in 2011 and as a Tunnel Engineer at John Holland from 2010 to 2011. Scott'searly career at URS Corporation from 2005 to 2010 involved designing hydropower schemes and managing construction projects for motorway tunnels.
Scott Galloway completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Hydropower Development from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree, with honors, in Civil Engineering from the University of Canterbury from 2002 to 2005.
