Ling Xiao has a long and varied work experience. In 2020, they became the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at GGWP.com. From 2014 to 2017, they were an Angel Investor and Board Member at Ruvixx, Inc. and Reflektive. During that same time period, they were an Angel Investor and Board Observer at Brava Home Inc. and Green Chef. From 2008 to 2012, they were the CDO and co-founder at Playdom, where they scaled the engineering, art and UI organizations from 0 to 200 in the first 2 years and oversaw the creation of core platform services. In 2010, they became the Vice President of Technology at The Walt Disney Company. From 2004 to 2008, they were a PhD Candidate in Computer Science at Stanford University. In 2017, they were an Angel Investor and Board Member at Kenzie Academy, where they helped to provide a solution to the dramatic shortage of tech talent in the U.S.
Ling Xiao attended Stanford University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained their Master of Science in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Ling also attended Woburn Collegiate Institute prior to their time at UC Berkeley.
