Nori van Balkom is a seasoned Senior Project Manager at GGD Haaglanden since January 2022, focusing on health equity and wellness in The Hague. Previously, Nori served at the Gemeente Den Haag from 2016 to 2022, where roles included Service Design & Process Optimization in the Social Domain and Advisor for Service Improvement, emphasizing citizen-centric approaches in municipal services. Nori's professional journey began with a management trainee program at the Gemeente Den Haag and an internship at the VNG, which involved evaluating municipalities' readiness for European engagement. Experience also includes project management for the Turkish Embassy celebrating bilateral relations with the Netherlands. Nori holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in European Studies, a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, and a Minor in Islamic Studies.
