Akke Hofstee has been serving at GGD Fryslân since 1990, holding various roles including Functionaris Gezondheidsbevordering, Projectleider Rookvrije Generatie Fryslân, and Coördinator for both tandheelkundige preventie and preventie hoofdluis. Additionally, Akke contributed as a volunteer at TOF Travel from 2009 to 2011. Educational credentials include studies at NSPOH Utrecht from 2015 to 2016, NCOI Opleidingen from 2014 to 2015, as well as completing HAVO-MBO at de Schakel Sneek during 1986 to 1988, and early education at Nij Walpert Wommels from 1982 to 1986.
