Camilla Snowman Andresen

Camilla Snowman Andresen is a Professor at GEUS with extensive experience in reconstructing Quaternary variability of the Greenland Ice Sheet and its climatic impacts, utilizing marine and lake sediment cores. Additionally, Camilla has held roles as Senior Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Scientist, focusing on climate variability in Greenland and the North Atlantic. Camilla is involved in various scientific committees, including assessment roles at the Swedish Research Council and participation in the PAST Gateways project. As a project leader, Camilla has successfully led interdisciplinary research initiatives and has significant fieldwork experience, notably retrieving over 70 sediment cores from Greenland. Academic qualifications include a PhD and a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Copenhagen.
