Alicia Hooks has served as General Manager of Greenville Electric Utility System (GEUS) since January 2018 and has held the same position since December 2013. Prior to this role, Alicia Hooks was Assistant General Manager, overseeing executive management of operating and support departments, and contributed to research and public relations initiatives. Previously as Compliance Manager, responsibilities included ensuring GEUS met NERC, Texas RE, and ERCOT compliance requirements. Alicia Hooks gained experience as a Compliance Specialist with GP&L, specializing in NERC GO compliance, and began a career in public relations as an Assistant Account Executive at S&C Public Relations. Educational credentials include a BAAS in Organizational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Commerce, an Associate of Arts and Sciences from NTCC, and a MIS degree from Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
