Salih Emre Sert has a strong background in engineering and management roles. Salih Emre is currently working as an Engineering Manager at GetYourGuide since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as an Engineering Manager at Getir from January 2021 to February 2023. During their time at Getir, they also held the position of Lead Platform & Infrastructure Engineer from December 2019 to December 2020. Before joining Getir, they worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at VNGRS from April 2017 to December 2019. Salih Emre started their career at Ubit as a Cloud Solutions Architect from September 2011 to April 2017.

Salih Emre Sert attended Istanbul Technical University, where they studied Telekomünikasyon Mühendisliği (Telecommunication Engineering) starting in 2009. Salih Emre has not yet completed their degree at this institution. Additionally, Salih has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate through Amazon Web Services. In 2019, they acquired the Azure DevOps Assessment and the MPN Competency: Cloud Platform for Technical certifications from Microsoft.
