Fábio Oliveira has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Fábio is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer, iOS at GetYourGuide since July 2021. Before that, from December 2020 to July 2021, Fábio took on the role of Stay-at-Home Dad.

Prior to their break, Fábio had a long tenure at GetYourGuide starting in November 2014. Fábio held multiple positions in the company, including Engineering Manager from January to December 2020, Associate Engineering Manager from October 2018 to January 2020, Senior Mobile Engineer - iOS from March to October 2018, and iOS engineer from November 2014 to March 2018.

Before joining GetYourGuide, Fábio worked as an iOS developer at scondoo GmbH from September 2013 to November 2014. Fábio also served as an iOS Team Leader at Neo7even from March 2012 to August 2013.

Fábio's earlier experiences include working at ALERT Life Sciences Computing, S.A. from July 2008 to March 2012. Here, they held the role of Software / Data Base Architect and Oracle Analyst Developer. Fábio also had a brief stint as a Software Developer Trainee. Fábio started their professional career at FEUP, where they held roles including MIEIC's Accompany Comission Member from December 2005 to May 2008 and Monitor Projecto FEUP from September to October 2007.

Fábio Oliveira's education history begins with their time at Colégio de Gaia from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Técnico de Informática degree in the field of Informatics. Following this, Fábio pursued their higher education at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2003 to 2008, where they achieved a Master's degree in Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Fábio has also gained certifications. Fábio obtained the First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in July 2008. Fábio also completed a Model Thinking course and received a certification from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2013.
