Alexandre Xavier has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alexandre began their career as an IT Support Analyst at Add IT Cloud Solutions in 2008. During this time, they provided remote support for various components like Windows Server, Microsoft Terminal Services, and Citrix. After six months, they became a Support Analyst.

In 2008, Alexandre also started working as an IT Support Technician at Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da USP. Alexandre supported Microsoft products and later took on additional responsibilities, including web application development, report generation, and intranet maintenance.

From 2012 to 2015, Alexandre worked as a Backend Developer at Rocket Internet GmbH. Alexandre predominantly worked for Mobly, where they focused on improving the shipping algorithm and integrating with marketplaces, payment gateways, and partners. Alexandre gained experience working with various technologies such as MySQL, Redis, Rabbit MQ, Solr, JWT, Ext JS, Git, Nginx, and Unit Tests.

In 2016, Alexandre joined SumUp as a Senior Backend Developer, responsible for the architecture of new features on the Payleven platform. Alexandre also contributed to the SCRUM processes. In 2017, they became the Tech Lead, leading the merging of Payleven's PHP-based backend platform with SumUp's Ruby-based backend platform.

In 2018, Alexandre joined AUTO1 as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2019. Currently, they work as a Senior Backend Engineer at GetYourGuide since May 2019.

Alexandre Xavier attended Universidade São Judas Tadeu from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Information Systems degree. Alexandre'sfield of study focused on Technology and Applied Sciences.
