José Manuel Rivera de la Maza is an experienced professional currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Partner at getxerpa since October 2020. José has been a Mentor and Ambassador at Start-Up Chile since March 2017 and co-founded Snuuper, where José Manuel worked as Country Manager for Mexico from April 2018 to September 2020, contributing to the largest on-demand mobile workforce in Latin America. Additionally, José held board member positions at Beagle Windows and Patagonia Glass from July 2017 to April 2019 and founded Jarly, a subscription box service for local baked goods, between September 2015 and July 2017. Earlier roles included wealth management at Banchile Inversiones and business development at Tanner Corredores de Bolsa. José co-founded Rival Ltda in 2008 and served as an executive director. In terms of education, José holds a Master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship from Hult International Business School and a Master of Science in Business Engineering from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering was also obtained.
