John Azevedo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. John started their career as an Associate Engineer at LightRiver Technologies in 2006 and later took on the role of Project/Program Manager, successfully managing multiple engineering projects. John then joined SNSC as a Business Intern, where they played a key role in launching a business plan competition.
In 2011, John joined Google as an Account Executive Team Lead, focusing on social media marketing strategies and cultivating relationships with agencies and brands. John later became an Account Executive Manager, leading projects to improve the organization and becoming a Salesforce.com guru. John also served as a Sales Manager, specializing in retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) at Wildfire, which was acquired by Google.
In 2015, John held the position of Head of Sales at Preact, a cloud-based customer success service, before transitioning to Tule Technologies as the Head of Sales and Customer Success. In this role, they were responsible for scaling sales and customer success, developing measurable processes, and exploring growth opportunities through partnerships.
John then joined Digital Deployment in 2020 as the Chief Operating Officer and Streamlineâ„¢ as the Chief Growth Officer, before assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer at both companies in November 2020. At Streamlineâ„¢, they also worked as a Sales Strategy Consultant, helping to craft a comprehensive sales strategy for accelerated growth within existing and new markets, as well as partnering with co-founders on fundraising strategies. Overall, John Azevedo has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of driving growth and success in various organizations.
John Azevedo attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2001 to 2006. During this time, they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering and successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in CPE.
