Carla Houska began their work experience in 2020 as a Trainee at Karl & Faber Kunstauktionen GmbH. Carla then moved on to AXA XL, a division of AXA, where they worked as a Trainee Underwriting Fine Art & Specie from September 2020 to March 2021. In 2021, Carla joined Getsafe as a Junior Sales Agent in October, before being promoted to Sales Agent in February 2022, and eventually becoming a Senior Sales Service Agent in August 2022.

Carla Houska has obtained a Bachelor's degree in European Art History from Heidelberg University.
