Inés Mateos Canals is a Nuclear Safety Engineer and Project Manager at Gesellschaft für Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit gGmbH since June 2020, specializing in the development of thermal-hydraulic and I&C system models with ATHLET, as well as conducting various safety analyses for nuclear facilities. Inés provides technical support for national nuclear authorities and manages research projects, focusing on reporting and client interactions. Prior experience includes an internship in Quality Management at BMW Group, where project management for supplier parts was a key responsibility. Inés holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
