Daniel J. has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Daniel started their career as an Analyst/Programmer at John Lewis, Partnership Services Division in 2000 and worked there until 2002. In 2002, they became a Director at GO BALLISTIC LTD, a direct bookings and gift experience company in the adrenaline activity and adventure sports sector.

In 2009, Daniel co-founded RezBot, a booking system for activity providers that specializes in front and back-end software for operators to integrate their bookings and itinerary management. RezBot operates in the UK, EU, Australasia, and North America.

In 2018, Daniel joined Geronigo as a Director. Geronigo is a global adventure bookings platform that offers thousands of instantly bookable activities at over 1800 centers in the UK and Ireland. The company is also expanding into Australia, New Zealand, and the USA.

Most recently, in 2020, Daniel became the Director of Escape This, a company dedicated to bringing film and theatre set quality to the escape room industry. Escape This has already launched 10 premium escape room experiences and plans to open 8 more by the end of 2022. With this growth, Escape This aims to become the largest escape room operator in Australia.

Daniel J. obtained a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Sunderland, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Daniel then pursued an MSc in Biotechnology at De Montfort University from 1995 to 1996. Subsequently, Daniel J. completed a PhD in Molecular Biology at the University of London, where they studied from 1997 to 2001.
