Yasser Hegazy is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in electrical power systems. Currently serving as a Professor and Dean at the Faculty of IET, GUC, since October 2017, Yasser also held a professorship at the German University in Cairo, starting from September 2008 and transitioning from Associate Professor to Professor by September 2010. Yasser completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Power Systems at the University of Waterloo between 1992 and 1996.
