Beate Keßler has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Beate started their career as a Consultant at IWiS Consult GmbH, where they managed consulting projects and implemented IT systems and tools. Beate then moved on to work as an Executive Search Consultant at Heidrick & Struggles, where they conducted executive research and presented candidates to customers.
In the year 2000, Beate joined Motorola and held various HR roles. Beate served as a Strategic Recruitment Specialist, Manager Recruitment for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Recruitment Lead for the Europe, Middle-East, and Africa Region. Beate also took on managerial positions in HR Operations, Diversity & Inclusion, and Employee Relations.
From 2011 to 2020, Beate worked at Motorola Solutions, where they held several senior HR roles. These positions included HR Manager for Central & Northern Europe, HR Manager for EA Supply Chain, Procurement, and Germany, and Business HR Partner and HR Manager for Solutions & Services in Europe, Africa, and Germany. Beate was responsible for organizational change management, performance management, coaching, and the development of leadership programs.
Most recently, Beate has been working as the Head of Human Resources at Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam - German Research Centre GFZ since 2021.

Beate Keßler completed their Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Freie Universität Berlin, between 1987 and 1995. Beate has additional certifications in various areas from institutions such as CrossKnowledge, Korn Ferry, and SHL, obtained in different years.
