Benjamin Rost is a scientific researcher at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) since June 2012, having held roles as a postdoctoral researcher and scientist. Previously, Benjamin worked as a PhD student in Dietmar Schmitz's lab and completed a postdoc in Christian Rosenmund's lab at Charité. In 2014, Benjamin was recognized as a Grass Fellow at the Marine Biological Laboratory. Prior to these positions, Benjamin served as a postdoc at Charité Campus-Mitte Berlin from January 2011 to June 2013, focusing on primary neuronal cell cultures, molecular biology, and electrophysiology with an emphasis on presynaptic machinery. Benjamin holds a Diplom in Humanbiologie from The Philipp University of Marburg.
