Steve Swart has over two decades of experience in business development and technical support, currently serving as the Regional Business Development Manager at Geotab Pty Ltd since January 2002. In this role, Steve focuses on enhancing fleet productivity, cost savings, and safety within the South African market through effective fleet monitoring solutions. Prior to joining Geotab, Steve held various positions at Sappi from February 1996 to July 2001, including Software Support Consultant and Branch Manager, after beginning a career as an Instrumentation Technician following an apprenticeship. Steve is a qualified technician, having successfully passed the trade exam through the Metal and Engineering Board. Education includes attendance at Ellisras Technical College and Hoerskool Ellisras.
