Cheryl Dillon is an experienced Abilities Management Specialist currently at Georgian College since November 2023, with a comprehensive background in accessibility and disability management gained from over a decade at the City of Barrie, where roles included Abilities Management & Accessibility Specialist and Accessibility & Diversity Advisor. Prior experience includes positions as a Program Advisor and Policy Analyst with the Alberta Government, along with contributions as a Labour Market Specialist at Decsa. Cheryl served on the Alberta Premier's Council on the Status of Persons With Disabilities and worked for the Northern Alberta Brain Injury Society as a Support Facilitator/Service Coordinator. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from the University of Calgary and a Certificate in Integrated Disability Management from the University of Fredericton, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta.
