Jacob Edwards has a strong background in the field of security engineering and cyber security. Jacob most recently worked as a Supervisor of Security Engineering at the Georgia System Operations Corporation starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Engineer at the same company from January 2017 to December 2020.

Before joining Georgia System Operations Corporation, Jacob worked as a Cyber Security Engineer at the Georgia Transmission Corporation from June 2012 to December 2016.

Jacob's career began at Mississippi State University, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2011 to June 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Computer Technician/Systems Administrator at the university from May 2009 to August 2011.
