Lisa Armistead is currently the Dean of the Graduate School at Georgia State University. Lisa has held this position since September 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Associate Provost for Graduate Programs at Georgia State University from July 2014 to September 2019. Before that, they were the Chair of Psychology at Georgia State University from January 2011 to June 2014.

Dr. Lisa Armistead is a clinical psychologist who earned their Ph.D. from The University of Georgia. Lisa has dedicated their career to helping others through their research and teaching.

Lisa Armistead reports to Nicolle Parsons-Pollard, Interim Provost & SVP, Academic Affairs. Lisa Armistead works with Richard Phillips - Dean, J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Kavita Pandit - Senior Advisor to the Provost, and Sara Rosen - Dean, College of Arts & Sciences.
