Elizabeth Ehrnst currently serves as the Head of Research Collections and Services at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, a position held since 2008, where responsibilities also include roles as Digital Initiatives Librarian and Archives and Digital Collections Librarian. Prior to this, Elizabeth worked as a Visual Resources Curator at Roger Williams University from 2007 to 2008 and as an Imaging and Metadata Specialist at Indiana University Bloomington between 2005 and 2007. Elizabeth earned a Master of Library Science (M.L.S.) in Art Librarianship from Indiana University Bloomington, completing the degree in 2007, and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Photography from Northern Michigan University, awarded in 2002. Elizabeth also studied at Richmond, The American International University in London.
