Carole Maddux currently serves as President of the Association for Episcopal Deacons and has held various leadership roles within the organization since February 2017. As Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Georgia Interfaith Public Policy Center since August 2019, Carole contributes to interfaith initiatives. Additionally, Carole works as a Grant Reviewer for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSAgov) and as a Consultant for MANAGEMENT STRATEGISTS CONSULTING GROUP, LLC, both since 2019. With extensive experience in The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, Carole has served as Archdeacon and Deacon since 2006. Previous roles include CEO of Good Samaritan Health & Wellness Center and member of the Board for the Georgia Association for Primary Health Care. Carole also held positions with the Georgia Free Clinic Network and WellStar Health System. Carole earned a Master of Science in Health Care Policy & Administration from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Communications from Georgia State University.
