Matt Guidry is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in systems administration and support, currently serving as a Senior Systems Support Engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology since April 2022. Prior to this role, Guidry worked as a Linux Systems Administrator for the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, where responsibilities included VMware virtualization and automation using Puppet and GitLab. Guidry also held positions including System Administrator Specialist at EuPathDB Bioinformatics Resource Center and Systems Administrator Associate at the University of Georgia, gaining expertise in hardware maintenance, server management, and configuration management with various tools and scripting languages. Guidry's career launched as an IT Specialist and Computer Technician in earlier roles, supplemented by an AAS in Computer Information Systems from Central Oregon Community College.
