Troy Johnson is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in nonprofit and organizational operations, currently serving as Chief Financial Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Georgia Health Initiative since November 2021. Prior to this role, Troy held the position of Controller at The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and served as Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer at Southern Education Foundation, managing a $3M budget and overseeing a $20M endowment fund. Additional experience includes directing financial operations at the YWCA of Greater Atlanta and AID Atlanta, where significant budget management and negotiation achievements were realized. Troy holds a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Hampton University.
