Roger Ivey possesses extensive experience in education and program management, currently serving as Program Manager for CTAE Program Delivery at the Georgia Department of Education since February 2016. Prior to this role, Ivey was the CTAE Director at Rockdale County Public Schools from June 2002 to January 2016 and held the position of Technology Education Teacher at both Creekland Middle School and Lilburn Middle School from 1987 to 2002. Additional experience includes working as a Construction Maintenance Worker at the Georgia Building Authority and as an Industrial Arts Teacher at Turner Middle School. Ivey holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Industrial Arts from Georgia Southern University, a Master's in Education in Technology Teacher Education/Industrial Arts Teacher Education from Georgia Southern University, as well as certifications in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia and UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education.
