Richard Parlier, Ph.D., currently serves as an Assessment Specialist for Data Quality and Reporting at the Georgia Department of Education, where responsibilities include managing data for Georgia’s student assessment program and producing quality reports. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Consultant at the Forum for Youth Investment, contributing to evaluation projects and creating visualizations, and various roles at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, focusing on data visualization, course assessment, and faculty development. Additional experience encompasses program evaluation at the Knoxville Family Justice Center and research assistance at both the University of Tennessee and Georgia State University. Richard holds a Ph.D. in Evaluation, Statistics, and Measurement from the University of Tennessee, a Master's in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor's in Biology from the University of Georgia.
