Kimberly Wetzel is an accomplished Communications Specialist at the Georgia Department of Education since December 2021, where Kimberly focuses on crafting strategic communications to highlight the experiences of students and educators throughout Georgia. Previous roles include serving as the Community Relations Secretary for the Houston County Board of Education from May 2019 to November 2021, combining analytical and creative skills in storytelling and graphic design. Kimberly also worked as an Administrative Assistant at William A. Amos, P.C. from October 2017 to May 2019, where responsibilities included front-desk coverage and office management. Earlier experience includes a role as an Administrative Coordinator at Mercer University, providing support to the Department of Community Medicine and supervising staff, as well as offering administrative assistance to the Dean of University Libraries. Kimberly Wetzel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations at Kennesaw State University, set to graduate in May 2024, and possesses a diverse educational background from multiple institutions, including Mercer University and Central Georgia Technical College.
