Mellissa Takeuchi is an experienced project manager currently serving at the Georgia Department of Economic Development since February 2021, focusing on enhancing job quality and investment across the state. Prior to this role, Mellissa worked as a special assistant at the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta, where responsibilities included promoting Japanese culture within multiple southeastern states. Additional experience encompasses roles as a bilingual administrative assistant, ESL professional, and assistant language teacher in various educational settings, along with positions in customer service and research. Mellissa holds a BA in International Affairs with a concentration in Economics from The George Washington University.
