Lori Cantrell-Dowdy is a seasoned professional in economic development and human services, currently serving as a Senior Regional Project Manager at the Georgia Department of Economic Development since April 2023. In this role, Lori acts as the lead point of contact for companies exploring expansion or new locations in Region 1, providing support on state incentives and community resources. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Director at the Cartersville-Bartow County Department of Economic Development, where Lori focused on existing industry support, and various roles in recruitment and insurance over several years. Lori holds a Master's degree in Human Services with a concentration in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Shorter University.
