Mr. Kirisits joined George Smith Partners in 2016 and has underwritten, marketed, and closed 200+ transactions totaling over $1.0 billion. He has sourced both perm and bridge financing for multifamily, retail, and office properties.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a Senior Financial Analyst for a real estate investment firm that owned approximately $70M worth of multifamily properties. In this role, Matt was responsible for evaluating new acquisitions, monitoring performance of the firmā€™s operating portfolio, and communication with lenders and investors. Previously, Matt worked in a financial reporting role in the Investment Accounting group at AIG, a large publicly traded insurance company.

Matt received an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management (class of 2009) and is a CFA charterholder.
