Tawfiq Ziyad is an experienced geotechnical engineer and laboratory technician with a demonstrated history in offshore projects. Currently serving as a freelance Offshore Geotechnical Engineer and Offshore Laboratory Technician at Geoquip Marine since March 2022, Tawfiq has been involved in overseeing drilling and geotechnical personnel, conducting soils laboratory testing, and interpreting geotechnical data. Previous experience includes a brief tenure at Gardline Limited as a Freelance Offshore Laboratory Technician in 2022, and a role at Orogenic Resources Sdn Bhd from 2017 to 2020 as a Core Analyst, focusing on core preparation and sample management. Additionally, Tawfiq worked as an Offshore Geotechnical Engineer at Orogenic Geocore Sdn Bhd from 2013 to 2016, preparing engineering analysis reports. Tawfiq holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering Technology from The University of Auckland, completed in 2012.
