Kerry Mapes, GISP, PMP, CGP-G has a diverse range of work experience. Kerry started their career at Stroud Water Research Center as an Entomology Technician/Intern from May 2013 to October 2014. They then joined the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where they worked as a GIS Lab Teaching Assistant from August 2016 to May 2018. Kerry continued their journey at the university, becoming a Research Associate & Lecturer from July 2018 to March 2021, and later transitioning to the role of Lecturer from August 2018 to July 2022.

Kerry's most recent position is with Geo Owl LLC, where they held multiple roles, starting as a Proposal Specialist from April 2020 to March 2021. They were then promoted to Solutions Architect from March 2021 to July 2022. Currently, Kerry serves as a Business Development Manager, starting in July 2022.
