Felix Mittermayer is an experienced marine scientist currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Biosample Manager at GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel since August 2018. Prior roles include science educator at Kieler Forschungswerkstatt and biologist at Natur und Umwelt – Ostseestation Travemünde e.V., where responsibilities included developing displays and conducting educational tours on marine biology topics. Felix Mittermayer also completed a PhD at GEOMAR and served as a Research Assistant at the University of Gothenburg. Felix Mittermayer holds a Master of Science in Marine Sciences from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Sciences and Ecology, as well as a Doctorate in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Kiel University.
