Dr. Ulrike Heine

Dr. Ulrike Heine is a seasoned professional in the fields of art history and curation, currently serving as a Wissenschaftsreferentin at the GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel since August 2023. Prior roles include Curator at the German Maritime Museum and the Antarctic Artists & Writers Collective, as well as Outreach Consultant at The University of Texas at Austin and Instructor at the University of Tampa. Dr. Heine's earlier experience includes positions as Curatorial Associate and Assistant at the MIT Museum, and a Doctoral Fellowship at Justus Liebig University Giessen. Educational qualifications comprise a Dr. Phil. in Kunstgeschichte from Justus Liebig University Giessen and a Magister Artium in History of Art and Cultural Sciences from Leipzig University.
