Nektarios Lianos is a specialized tech lead in 3D vision at Geomagical Labs since November 2017, where responsibilities include 3D reconstruction and scene understanding. Prior roles include applied researcher focusing on 3D reconstruction and deep learning, contributing to various algorithms in the 3D reconstruction pipeline, and computer vision engineer as part of the core R&D team. Experience includes a research internship at IBM Research ZRL working on visual SLAM and a research assistant role at ETH's Computer Vision and Geometry Group. Nektarios also interned at ABB Switzerland Ltd in machine learning for the electrical grid. Educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Robotics from ETH Zürich and a Master of Engineering in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
