Marta Cyz is a Senior Scientist and Research Scientist at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) since February 2022, leading projects focused on AI/ML applications in seismic data interpretation, particularly in geothermal contexts. Marta's expertise includes seismic data analysis, geological modeling, and stakeholder presentations, as well as report and research paper preparation. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant role at the Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences, from August 2013 to January 2022, where land seismic data processing and interpretation were key responsibilities. An internship at the same institute involved work on a Master’s thesis related to geological solutions. Marta holds a PhD in Geological and Earth Sciences from the Institute of Geophysics, along with postgraduate studies in Data Science from Warsaw University of Technology and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics from AGH University of Krakow.
