Kati Kiviniemi is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Communications Manager at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) since March 2021. Kati is also the Chair of the Digital Communication Network for ProCom, the Finnish Association of Communications Professionals, fostering professional development for nearly 3000 members. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Communications at Aalto University Executive Education, where Kati handled corporate communications and content marketing, and Communications Manager at Aalto PRO, responsible for marketing and PR processes. Early career experiences include communications roles at Karakallion Huolto Oy, Lifelong Learning Institute Dipoli, and the Parliament of Finland. Kati holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Helsinki and has completed various professional development courses related to responsible business and sustainability.
