Omar Perez has extensive work experience in operations and management roles. Omar started their career at UPS in 2001 as an Operations Supervisor, where they managed a team of supervisors and team members. Their responsibilities included maximizing productivity, reducing labor costs, and training new hires. In 2010, Omar joined Under Armour, initially as an Active Pick Manager and later transitioning to roles such as Assistant Night Manager, DH Night Operations Manager, and Senior Manager of Operations. In these positions, they oversaw various aspects of day-to-day operations, including safety, quality, performance, and cost KPIs. Omar also played a key role in facility design, labor planning, and meeting launch deadlines for a new distribution facility. In 2018, Omar became the Director of Operations at Under Armour, responsible for exceeding KPIs and ensuring employee retention. Most recently, Omar held the position of Senior Director of Operations at GEODIS, starting in 2023. Overall, Omar's experience showcases their expertise in operations management, strategic planning, and maintaining a world-class distribution model.

Omar Perez attended Escuela Superior Jose Gautier Benitez from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued general studies. In 2022, they obtained a certification in the Hispanic & Latino Executive Leadership Program from McKinsey & Company.
