Luke Reid has worked in various roles since 1999. Luke began their career at Diverse Productions as a Programmer in 1999. In 2000, they became CTO and Co-founder of Skinkers Communications. From 2006 to 2007, Reid was CTO and Founder of Areo and Co-founder of Livestation. In 2007, they were also Director and Executive Producer of Clocktower Games. Since 2018, they have been Chief Technology Officer of GeoCamXYZ and Camera System Engineer of Geocam.

Luke Reid attended the University of Otago from 1996 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
