Ron Chapple is a seasoned professional in aerial data acquisition and imaging, currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Solutions at NV5 Geospatial since July 2022, where innovative fusion of technologies is emphasized through the merger with GEO1. As CEO of GEO1 since 2015, Ron has focused on high-resolution airborne LiDAR data and imagery, catering to sectors such as electric utility, oil and gas, and archaeology. In addition, Ron founded Aerial Filmworks LLC in 2004, specializing in gyrostabilized aerial video for various media, and previously established Thinkstock LLC in 2001, which provided stock imagery before its acquisition by Getty Images. Ron holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Aesthetics of Photography from Davidson College.
