Olivia Lau has worked in the software engineering industry since 2005. Olivia began their career at ViXS Systems Inc. as an Associate Software Engineer, and subsequently held roles as a Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Team Lead. In 2017, they moved to GEO Semiconductor, Inc. where they held roles as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, and Software Quality Assurance Manager.

Olivia Lau attended the University of Waterloo from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Engineering.
