Gabriel Ng has been working in the engineering and software development fields since 2001. Gabriel began their career as a Components & Equipment/PMM Co-op at Bruce Power in 2001. The following year, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer Co-op at Wardrop Engineering. In 2003, they held two Co-op positions, one as an Embedded Software Developer at ALT Software and the other as a Hardware Engineering Co-op at DY-4 Systems. In 2004, they became a Software Engineer at ALT Software. In 2008, they moved to Intelligent Mechatronic Systems as an Embedded Software Engineer. In 2010, they were an Embedded Software Developer at Research In Motion. In 2014, they began working at LocalGrid Technologies as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer and at GEO Semiconductor, Inc. as a Senior Principal MTS of Engineering and Senior Firmware Development Engineer.

Gabriel Ng has an education history that includes a Master of Management Science from the University of Waterloo (2005-2007), a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo (1999-2004), and a high school diploma from Munsang College (1994-1997).
