As Project Manager, Olivia collaborates closely with the office of the CEO and the entire GENYOUth team to support and advance the organization’s event, program, and youth engagement priorities in building healthier school communities and ensuring that every child, in every school, is nourished, active and supported. She also supports internal operations to maintain successful collaboration across key inter-departmental initiatives.
Prior to her role at GENYOUth, Olivia worked as a Nutrition Resource Manager under the New York State Department of Health Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Assistance Program (HPNAP) at Food Bank For New York City. Olivia managed the annual Seed Grant award, a NYSDOH initiative, and had the opportunity to represent Food Bank For New York City on the Excellence Subcommittee, a group of funding organizations working to create policies and procedures regarding safe food handling at NYC Emergency Food Programs. At the core of Olivia’s project management experience is the value of equitable nutrition and connecting with communities and stakeholders to make a measurable impact.
Olivia is a graduate of CUNY Brooklyn College with a B.A. in Health and Nutrition Sciences.
