Brian Pownall is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Vice President and Senior Engineer at EIG since October 2021, focusing on North America Upstream, Midstream, and Royalties, as well as Global LNG and Global CCS. Prior to EIG, Brian held the position of Reservoir Manager at Silverado Oil & Gas LLC, where expertise was applied in the acquisition and exploitation of large-scale, liquid-rich resource plays. Previously at Newfield Exploration, Brian progressed through various roles including Asset Lead for the STACK Reservoir, achieving significant production milestones, and senior positions in corporate development and reservoir engineering, contributing to over 100 analyses of acquisitions and joint ventures. Brian began the career at Newfield Exploration as a Production and Operations Intern after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
