Vice President Of Research & Development at Genvax

Lance Daharsh currently serves as the Vice President of Research & Development at Genvax since August 2022, after a progression from Senior Scientist roles. Prior experience includes a Post Doctoral Research Associate position at Iowa State University, where research focused on immunology, virology, the gut microbiome, genetics, and bioinformatics, notably contributing to the SCID pig project aimed at creating pigs with human immune systems. Lance was also a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, conducting virology and immunology research with an emphasis on HIV-1, SIV, Zika, and influenza. Earlier career experience includes roles at Neogen Corporation / GeneSeek as a Customer Support Scientist and Lab Technician. Educational qualifications encompass an Executive MBA in Food, Agriculture, and Biosystems from Iowa State University, a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
