Sergio Barra is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Global Director PIC - Controller & Business Accounting at Genus PLC, a position held since March 2015, which followed a role as Regional Controller for Latin America. Prior to Genus PLC, Barra worked at Orica from January 2010 to March 2015 as Financial Controller for Latin America, overseeing financial control, compliance, and cash management across seven countries, and has also held roles such as Controller in Chile. Additional experience includes finance positions at Grupo Santander Aquanima, The Walt Disney Company, and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Sergio Barra holds multiple advanced degrees including an MBA from The University of Manchester and a Master in Finance from ESE Business School, along with several other relevant qualifications in finance and accounting.
